Levi had an great opportunity to pick a state and do a report and make a float. He chose Colorado and insists that he is a Coloradan. Conversation with Levi, "Mom, I was born in Colorado so I am a Coloradan." I say, "Levi, yes you were born there but you only lived 10 months of your life there." Levi says,"That's o.k. mom 10 months works." No arguing with that right? Anyway, he did a great job on his float with some minor (ha ha) help from dad and mom. They had a Young American Award that he earned by memorizing lots of info about the country and they had a parade of State floats and then a program to honor all the kids. We officially had our first day of summer with all kids out of school today. Yeah summer! We hope it gets warm!
