We finished up a great baseball season with Levi's team taking state. Troy coached and had a really great group of boys. We headed to Bear Lake (Grandpa Stucki's) for the 4th and then again mid July to stay at the lake with all of the Timothy's. Swimming lessons were squeezed in there and school started back the end of July (we are on year round.) Joanne had girls camp and we went to Bear Lake to have one last trip with the waverunners. Had a good summer with family and friends:)

Baseball Season

Levi playing second base (the one in the front)

We had a great baseball season despite the rain and cold and more rain and more cold. We did have a few nice warm days that it was enjoyable to be outside watching baseball. These pictures are of Levi and Hayden. Both boys played 2nd base this year and this was Hayden up to bat. Levi's team did great and took 2nd place. Hayden's team also had a great season winning a lot of their games and having a fun season. Christian's pictures are on another camera so he didn't get in on this blog but he also had fun playing with his cousin Kaysen on the same team.

Oh What to do in the Summertime

No picture this time but we are busy, busy, busy. Levi, Hayden and Christian are all in baseball and Ainsley is in dance. She has her last recital in June and that will be done. All the boys are doing great in baseball. Levi's team has only lost one game with two games left in the regular season so we might be doing baseball into July depending on how they end. Work for Troy has not been too busy so he has been able to spend a lot of time coaching the boys. We are looking forward to school being out. 4 weeks left! Andrew, Michellle and boys are coming for a visit for the holiday weekend and the kids can't wait! Needless to say we are starting out summer with a full schedule! I will post baseball pics and dance pics in the near future.

Wanted: XMen:aka Nightcrawler & Sidekick

One of Hayden's many hidden talents. He loves to show off his tongue and found a new way to do it. Eating blue ring pops has it's advantages I guess. Christian wanted to get in on the action too but couldn't quite do the tongue part so he just likes to show he is as tough as his big brothers.

Picture Princess

Here she is Shabby Apple!

She is a princess in her very own way. Her shy smile when she meets someone new, the way she stands up for herself to her three big brothers, and her silly side when she can't quit giggling. She brought pink to our home and a presence that has no words.
These are the ways she is our picture princess.

What It's Like To Be a Kid at Christmas

Oh, I love Christmas morning just to see the looks on their faces. The joy of giving really is better than receiving! We had a good holiday season and the whole spirit of it. We had snow the whole week of Christmas which added to the atmosphere. Now it is January. Christmas decorations come down and we all get to set those fabulous new years resolutions. I think everyone hopes they can do better in some way and it's nice to have a fresh start. We didn't start out the year on a great note; we all got the stomach flu but fortunately everyone was over and done with it in about three days so we are grateful for that. Hopefully we are done with that for a long time. Our kids are "off track" (year round school lingo) until the end of January so we are looking forward to a trip to CO this month and spending lots of time sledding and enjoying the snow. (that might last for a week) We will survive!
